Dave Bradley - Award Winning Theme DJ

It has to be said one of the most high profile events that I have taken part in was Tony and Angela's wedding back in 2007. It was completely Star Trek themed, right down to the food that they ate, was was dyed purple and black to resemble Klingon food. They were married by a real Vicar who was also a Star Trek fan and conducted the wedding service for them dressed as a Vulcan. Even the order of service was all professionally printed was a Star Trek typeface (font). They really went to town putting their wedding together, every detail of the whole day was meticulously and well produced. This was not fancy dress, anything but, they were in full custom made star fleet uniforms along with all the main bridal party, even I was dressed a Borg.

The music in the evening provided by me was a mixture of Sci-Fi and normal chart and poppy type stuff, with their first dance being the theme tune to the TV show "Star Trek: Enterprise" sung by Rustle Watson, just how amazing was that? The venue was anything but futuristic, Worsley Court House, a 16th Century building full of oak panelling and high beams. By the time Tony and Angela had finished decorating the inside and me mounting all manner of high tech lighting, lasers and screens everywhere you couldn't tell 16th century to the 24th century in one day wow!

The local press came along did a feature of the day. The article that they produced snow-balled and the national press ended up picking up the story and running with it, to the extent that while Tony and Angela were away on their honeymoon in America the worlds press started to approach me for interviews with Tony, Angela and myself. They even appeared on "This Morning" with Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford, being interviewed  by Paul Ross. I was invited to appear on a TV game show as a Trekkie with Donny Osmond hosting it. It was broadcast on New Years Day 2008 at lunchtime putting me front of the biggest audience to date.
